It's Philo to be back!
Phoebe Philo, who's designs are said to have revived the looks of the 70's and 80s with her mix of girly prettiness and vintage assents has finally got her arse back to work at fashion house, Celine.
It has been confirmed by LVMH that Philo will start in October. However eager fashionistas might be disappointed : We won't be seeing her work till Fall/Winter 2009.
How interesting will this be?
Known for its classic clean slacks and Jane Birkin inspired collections, wouldn't it be an exciting little thing to see how the former creative director of Chloé will cast her innocent girlish and flirty charm on Celine.
I will surely be expecting nothing but greatless from Philo (who is, by the way one of my favourite designers) and how she would intrepret the future of Celine.
